After my first solo trip to London, I noticed my favorite shots and best memories came from street photography, particularly involving animals. I found a special connection with animals that inhabit the places we only get to see in passing. Glimpsing into the everyday life of a street animal can often represent the beauty of a city more than some landscape shots achieve. These photos feature animals from the US, Mexico, and Panama)

Taking a page out of Elias Weiss Friedman’s book, I’ve found myself connecting with locals in foreign lands over their pets! Unlike my streeties, these pets are usually eager to please and I have a special touch getting animals to pose in front of a camera.
