After working in the television and film industry for 5 years, I picked up my first film camera in 2021. I wanted to get away from the constant "snap, snap, snap" available in every smartphone user's hand. My deepest desire was to slow down and think critically about what I was shooting, while also capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments. It didn't take long for film photography to steal my heart.

Since 2023, I've spent many of my nights and weekends going to concert venues and music halls to shoot live music. By utilizing double-exposures during live performances, I've been able to deliver stylized images that also feel classic, without needing to edit. When the amps are loaded up, I love to collaborate with musicians to translate the melodies, tones, and vibes of their music into visual grain that needs no context. When still frames aren't enough to stand out on an IG grid, Super 8 is there to provide the same visual sensation and character in a video format.

Today, I have many varieties of film cameras and am discovering new mediums and processes to try with them every day. You can usually find me on a hiking trail with my dog, traveling out of the country, or going to concerts and sporting events, all with a camera (or two) in my hand.
